An Excellant High Quality Dryer
I am not a groomer, but rather a pet owner that has a beautiful Golden Retriever that likes to get dirty and muddy in the pond behind my house. So a couple of years ago I bought & installed a Forever Stainless Steel pet tub and a K9 III Dryer along with wall mounts in the mud room. As this is the first pet dryer I have ever used, I have nothing to compare it to. But I love this thing. The 0-100% variable speed was a major draw of this dryer when I was researching pet dryers. And it has proven to be a useful feature in allowing me to dial in just the right speed, and allowing me to adjust it when drying sensitive areas. I do wish it had a separate on/off switch rather than having to turn the speed adjustment all the over and clicking it off. Sometimes you want to turn it off momentarily and it would be quicker and easier to have a switch to do that. Plus when you turned it back on, you would be at the same setting. I solved that minor shortcoming my using a switched outlet. I like to keep her hair longer as I love the feathering look. Despite that extra hair, the K9 III blows the water off and gets her dry very quickly. It is a bit loud, but not horribly so. And I attribute more of that to my use in a small mud room. In the larger living room it is not as loud. I am unable to compare the loudness to other dryers. But neither I or my dog find it annoying. But of course a bomb could go off and my girl would just take it in stride as she is a very calm dog. The dryer is well built and I strongly suspect it will last many many years. Filter changes are a snap, literally. Overall, after two years use, I am very happy with this purchase. As is my dog as she likes the fact that bath time is much quicker since I got the pet tub and dryer compared to the nightmare it was when we use to use the upstairs bathroom. And my groomer compliments how nice her coat is when I take her in for a haircut.

this is a very good dryer. it is well made and sturdy. It will last for years. It is powerful but not overly so, you will not have to worry about blasting a maltese off the table or anything. It drys both small and large dogs well, it can be adjusted to dry a small dog and later you can put it on high and it can dry a giant Newfoundland in a reasonable amount of time. I have heard people say these are very loud, but after working with it i can tell you it is no louder than most force dryers. It is quieter than the B-air dryer i had.
